My focus is on helping each person understand their issues, develop insight into difficult situations and discover the inner resources and skills to develop more meaningful and fulfilling lives.

About Me

I am a licensed and certified Psychotherapist (L.P.C.) with an interest in people and a commitment to helping and guiding my patients through their issues. It is my mission to provide psychotherapy in a safe and welcoming atmosphere, and to create plans for my clients to help them achieve their goals.

I serve Austin and the greater Austin area, including Travis, Bastrop, Williamson, Burnet and Caldwell counties.

My Approach to Counseling

I use eclectic approaches in my practice; I am trained in the more traditional psychodynamic therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and Jungian Analysis. I choose the tools best for the client's needs based upon my assessment of the situation, and in consultation with the client. I take a collaborative approach to therapy so my clients are active in their own healing processes.

I establish a strong and safe atmosphere with all of my clients. I am very interested in what brings clients to my practice, and I spend time really getting to know them as people, not just as diagnoses. I have a warm and direct manner and strive to be as present and near-future-oriented as possible. This allows me to help my clients establish goals for their treatment that I can then help them attain.
